The goal of Von Braun Station is to build a dual-use station that is economically self-sustaining. Von Braun Stations creation will also form a space construction industry with bots, pods, drones, construction arms, new space suits, and large-scale truss building machines designed for building large structures in space. This video and the ones that will follow were made for NASA and other aerospace engineers to see that this is a technically feasible design, with a solid business plan, that will allow NASA and other space agencies to buy, rent, or lease space on this station very affordably. Later, when they have acquired the low-gravity data they need, they can move on to other projects with no binding financial ties. We ask you all the same two questions:

The Gateway Foundation is a handful of space engineers who want to pursue building a giant station in low earth orbit, a station like the one described by Werner von Braun in the 1950's. However they have a long way to go and their funding mechanism has many hurdles to cross before it could be used.

This Video is a recording of John Blincow Speaking at the AIAA conference in Long Beach CA 2016 of how to build, fund, and operate the first rotating spaceport in Low Earth Orbit for middle-class people.
The Gateway Spaceport
To create a revolution in space access we need to build infrastructure in Low Earth Orbit. Building this spaceport will also start a new industry: Space construction. Infrastructure is for everyone: rich, middle-class and poor. It will have have several revenue streams: Governments will rent rooms for low gravity science as will corporations and private ventures. But its most important function will be to bring middle-class people into space, If only rich people go then space station's will be small. By including middle-class people we create an airport in LEO that will bring down prices faster than anything else.

The equation is a=(w^2)*r where a is the acceleration, w is the angular velocity and r is the radius.
First we must convert RPM to radians per second. There is 2(pi) radians per revolution and 60 seconds in a minute. So one RPM equals 2(pi)/60. We then simply enter these values into the equation. For our first calculation on space station v we get a=(0.1047)^2*150=1.65 ms^-2 Patreon:
