SpaceX Starship at Von Braun Station: Design Challenges II
The goal of Von Braun Station is to build a dual-use station that is economically self-sustaining. Von Braun Stations creation will also form a space construction industry with bots, pods, drones, construction arms, new space suits, and large-scale truss building machines designed for building large structures in space. This video and the ones that will follow were made for NASA and other aerospace engineers to see that this is a technically feasible design, with a solid business plan, that will allow NASA and other space agencies to buy, rent, or lease space on this station very affordably. Later, when they have acquired the low-gravity data they need, they can move on to other projects with no binding financial ties. We ask you all the same two questions:
1. Is this a good design?
2. Is it the right time to build a rotating space station to acquire valuable, low-gravity, human physiology data? Thank you for your time and consideration. To join our Crew Membership, go to:

Why Wernher Von Braun Space Station Never Took Flight?
Vincent Rhodes explores the current events and mysteries of our world from a biblical perspective. Often controversial, he challenges the mainstream narrative, insisting that things in the news and mainstream media are often not what we have been told. In a world of deceit, Vincent Rhodes insists that only the Truth, as revealed through our Lord Jesus Christ, will set us free.

SpaceX Starship at Von Braun Station, Vote for this station's name!
Is Von Braun Station the right name for the first rotating space station in history? Watch this video to decide, and vote as a Gateway Foundation Crew member if you want to participate in this historic event.
A Realistic Look At The Gateway Foundation & Von Braun Station
The Gateway Foundation is a handful of space engineers who want to pursue building a giant station in low earth orbit, a station like the one described by Werner von Braun in the 1950's. However they have a long way to go and their funding mechanism has many hurdles to cross before it could be used.
NASA's New Plans To Land Humans On The Moon In 10 Years
NASA has flipped and flopped between the Moon and Mars for the last few decades, and now they're back looking at the Moon as the logical target to move beyond Low Earth Orbit. This week they called on industry partners to design new spacecraft to put humans on the surface of the moon with a goal being to do this by 2028.
SpaceX Starship and The Von Braun Rotating Space Station
The Von Braun rotating space station will be the first commercial space construction project in history. It will be serviced by the SpaceX Starship and be designed to accommodate national space agency laboratories, billionaires who want to own property in space, and space tourists.

Artificial gravity is a concept that is ubiquitous in our science fiction yet elusive in our space program. Why is this? And how could we develop artificial gravity soon? In a Cool Worlds special, this video essay goes in depth on the topic discussing why centrifuges are the most plausible solution and early ideas on the topic. Join us a journey from Einstein's equivalence principle, to O'Neill Cylinders and Stanford Tori; from Coriolis forces to near-term experiments. Grab a cup of a tea and enjoy. Chapters:

What Will It Take To Stay Healthy In Space? Practical Artificial Gravity
One of the biggest problems of spaceflight is the total lack of gravity. Here are some proposals that could generate artificial gravity through rotating spacecraft. Sign up to my weekly email newsletter:

Building the first spaceport in LEO - AIAA 2016
This Video is a recording of John Blincow Speaking at the AIAA conference in Long Beach CA 2016 of how to build, fund, and operate the first rotating spaceport in Low Earth Orbit for middle-class people.
The Gateway Spaceport
To create a revolution in space access we need to build infrastructure in Low Earth Orbit. Building this spaceport will also start a new industry: Space construction. Infrastructure is for everyone: rich, middle-class and poor. It will have have several revenue streams: Governments will rent rooms for low gravity science as will corporations and private ventures. But its most important function will be to bring middle-class people into space, If only rich people go then space station's will be small. By including middle-class people we create an airport in LEO that will bring down prices faster than anything else.
Can We Create Artificial Gravity?
Thanks for watching! I actually had an early version of this ready last week. Which you can watch here on my second channel:
I decided, with the help of my Patreon supporters, that it wasn't good enough. Have a few ideas for my next video. Space X is winning right now. What do you think? I may try to work on two videos at once this week. Woops forgot the math:
The equation is a=(w^2)*r where a is the acceleration, w is the angular velocity and r is the radius.
First we must convert RPM to radians per second. There is 2(pi) radians per revolution and 60 seconds in a minute. So one RPM equals 2(pi)/60. We then simply enter these values into the equation. For our first calculation on space station v we get a=(0.1047)^2*150=1.65 ms^-2 Patreon:
